IPOB Lawyer: Some misguided fellows like Gowon said that Biafra ended in the Battle Field in 1970, what ended is ARMED struggle, not Biafra STRUGGLE
Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, Special Counsel to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the Indigenous People of Biafra has slammed what he called misguided fellows who said that the issue of #Biafra ENDED in the battlefield in 1970, adding What ended on 15th January 1970 is the ARMED struggle, not the STRUGGLE.

On Twitter, He wrote: "For far too long, @MaziNnamdiKanu & the #IPOB have heroically borne the burden of DEFENDING the interest of Eastern Nigerians (aka: #Biafrans). It’s indeed a heavy burden, borne in BLOOD, honor & patriotism. If Nigeria is hurting you, support them. Otherwise, leave them alone."

"SELF-DETERMINATION is simply the process by which a group of people, usually possessing a certain degree of national consciousness, seek to form their own state. That’s what #Biafra is all about. So, nobody needs to be imprisoned or killed for it."

"You must respect anybody or group that offers you the prospects of an alternative to being an UNWANTED Nigerian."

"Conversely, you must reject the notion that you have no alternative than to SUFFER & DIE for being a Nigerian. That’s not supposed to be your portion as a citizen."

"Some misguided fellows, particularly Yakubu Gowon, have said that the issue of #Biafra ENDED in the battlefield in 1970. That’s FALSE."

"What ended on 15th January 1970 is the ARMED struggle, not the STRUGGLE."
